How to mirror your Android phone to a Samsung TV
Two easy ways to get your Android screen on a Samsung TV. If your phone still has Samsung Smart View or wireless projection, that is built in. If it does not, or you want it to just work on any phone, use the free Screen Mirroring app.
Quick answer
To mirror Android to a Samsung TV, put both on the same Wi-Fi. If your phone has Smart View, swipe down the quick panel, tap Smart View, and pick your TV. On any Android, open the receiver in the Samsung TV's browser at tvee.app and connect the free Screen Mirroring app with the six character code.

Screen not showing up? Run the troubleshooter for a checklist, or check your exact phone and TV first.
Prefer the built-in way? Try Samsung Smart View
Swipe down the quick settings panel, tap Smart View (some phones call it Screen Mirroring or Wireless projection), and pick your Samsung TV. This uses Miracast and works on phones that still support it. Google Pixel and some newer phones dropped it, so use the app method if you do not see the option.

FAQ
Common questions about mirroring Android to a Samsung TV
Does Samsung Smart View work with any Android phone?
No. Smart View uses Miracast, which many newer Android phones, including Google Pixel, have dropped. If your phone has no Smart View or wireless projection option, use the free Screen Mirroring app, which works on any Android.
How do I mirror Android to a Samsung TV without Smart View?
Open tvee.app in the Samsung TV's web browser, then open the Screen Mirroring app on the phone and connect with the six character code shown on the TV. This works on any Android phone and any Samsung TV.
Is there sound when mirroring Android to a Samsung TV?
With the Screen Mirroring app, sound is a PRO feature that needs Super Mode. Samsung Smart View can carry system sound on phones that support it.
Can I mirror over the internet instead of the same Wi-Fi?
Yes. The app's Super Mode, on by default, can connect over the internet, so the phone and the Samsung TV do not have to be on the same network.
