Install the app on the Chromebook
On the Chromebook, install the free Screen Mirroring app from the Google Play Store. Chromebooks run Android apps.
Open the receiver on the Fire TV
On the Fire TV, open the Silk browser and go to tvee.app. A QR code and a six character code appear.
Open the app and tap Start Mirroring
On the Chromebook, open the Screen Mirroring app and tap Start Mirroring.
Scan the QR code or enter the code
Scan the QR code on the Fire TV, or type the six character code shown on it.
Allow screen capture
Tap Start now on the screen capture prompt.
Your Chromebook appears on the Fire TV
Your Chromebook screen now shows on the Fire TV. To end, tap Stop Mirroring in the app.
