Screen Mirroring App Tutorials

How to mirror your iPhone to a Roku

Roku works a little differently from a smart TV. There is no web browser on it, so the app adds a small free channel to your Roku and streams straight to it. On newer Roku devices you can also use AirPlay, with nothing to install.

Quick answer

To mirror an iPhone to a Roku, put both on the same Wi-Fi. On a Roku that supports AirPlay 2 (Roku OS 9.4 or later), open Control Center and tap Screen Mirroring. On any Roku, install the free Screen Mirroring channel, then connect the app by scanning the QR code or entering the Roku's IP address.
