How to mirror your iPhone to a Fire TV Stick
Fire TV does not have AirPlay built in, the way an Apple TV does. So mirroring an iPhone needs a small receiver on the Fire TV. The free Screen Mirroring app installs it from the Amazon Appstore and launches it for you.

Mirror iPhone to Fire TV with the receiver
Install the Receiver App on the Fire TV
In the app, tap Install Receiver App, then Open Amazon to install the free Screen Mirroring Receiver from the Amazon Appstore. On a Fire TV without the app, open tvee.app in the Silk browser instead.
Join the same Wi-Fi
Put your iPhone on the same Wi-Fi network as the Fire TV.
Choose Connect via QR or ID
In the app, choose Connect via QR or ID. The app launches the receiver on the Fire TV, and a QR code and a six character ID appear.
Scan the QR code or enter the ID
Scan the QR code on the Fire TV, or type the six character ID and tap Connect ID.
Start mirroring
Tap Start Mirroring, then tap the broadcast button, choose Screen Mirroring, and tap Start Broadcast.
Your iPhone appears on the Fire TV
Your iPhone screen now shows on the Fire TV. To end, tap Stop Mirroring in the app.
Receiver will not install or connect? Make sure the Fire TV allows apps from the Amazon Appstore, and that both devices share the same Wi-Fi. The troubleshooter has more fixes.
Why no AirPlay on Fire TV?
Unlike Apple TV, Fire TV does not include AirPlay, so an iPhone cannot mirror to it out of the box. A receiver app fills that gap. The Screen Mirroring app installs and opens it for you, so you do not have to hunt for it.

Can you AirPlay to a Fire TV Stick?
